Founded in 2025 in the UK, Poly Act-ive is a fashion retailer promoting sustainability in the fashion industry. Fast fashion is a rising issue in our economy with workers being underpaid and overworked, materials being cheap and bad for the environment and a substantial amount of people over consuming. We as a world have seen the issues this has caused, from well-known catastrophes like the Rana Plaza collapse in Bangladesh and the Tazreen fashions fire to troubling statistics such as Burberry admitting to burning £28 million worth of unsold stock in 2018, over 540 workers reporting abuse in factories across South Asia in 2025 and dyeing and finishing processes releasing toxic chemicals into rivers in China, India, and Bangladesh. From that information alone you can see the prices we pay daily for good looks, but are those looks really worth it? At Poly Act-ive we believe they can be as we aim to make our company 100% sustainable. We hope to show the world what we as people can do to make a better impact.
